How to Control Your PSP Go With PS3 Controller

How to Control Your PSP Go With PS3 Controller

You may be thinking that it doesn’t make any sense to use a controller on my portable game system. Well there are a few ways you can use it for! If you at your desk, you can just prob your PSP Go against something and play with the PS3 controller if you don't want to be picking it up and putting it down, or if you have your PSP connected to your TV, you have the freedom of being farther away. Or you could let your friend play and freak him out by hitting random buttons on the controller! Any way it is a very simple process and costs nothing!

Step 1
Prepare your Matterials
-PSP Go
-PSP Go charging cable
-PS3 (temporarily)
-PS3 Controller (Sixaxis or Dualshock, I recommend Sixaxis because it's lighter, and you can't rumble anyway on the PSP)

Step 2
Prep the PSP
Turn on Bluetooth connection from PSP Go settings menu, then click on Register New Devices in Manage Bluetooth Devices and select Register a PS3 System Controller, then make connection between PSP GO and PS3 via PSP Go charging cable.

Step 3 Prep the Controller
Power on PS3 and PS3 Controller into the PS3 by USB cable.

Step 4

Press the PS Button
After connection is completely, press the PS button on the PS3 controller and then you can remove the USB cable from PS3 as it tells you to.Now ,you can play PSP GO via ps3 controller.Wow,It is amazing that there is absolutely no lag between psp go and controller.

Step 5Tips
-Keeping Bluetooth on will run down your battery, so if you know you won't be using the controller for a while, turn Bluetooth off.
-Even when the PS3 is closed, you can still play, and it won't go into the closed state (clock, calendar, etc)
-You can only have one controller synced at a time
-The Controller usually syncs with the PSP in about 5 seconds after just turning it on
-The L1 and L2/R1 and R2 both function as L/R respectively
-The 3rd party controller is not supported by PSP GO.
